Trillium WomanCare will work with you for insurance covereage of your care. We have chosen not to contract with insurance payers at this time, however, if you have out-of-network benefits our services will usually be covered as out of network. Sometimes it is possible to get an in-network exception for our care as there are no midwives who attend births currently in any network in this area.
We work with a billing service: Midwife Billing and Business (MBB), who process all our insurnace and also manage our self-pay accounts.
There is a charge of $20 to verify benefits and you can do it online. MBB will verify your benefits and then send an email to you with the information. In addition they will ask about requesting an in-network exception and let you know what needs to be done to make this request. Sometimes we can request the exception and sometimes it must be done by the client.
