Fall Winter 2009 Class Schedule

Healthy Pregnancy/Healthy Birth 35$

1 class includes topics: exercize and nutrition, intro to relaxation, navigating your birthing options

Thursday September 1, 2009 6pm-9pm; Saturday October 10, 2009 2pm-5pm; Thursday November 12, 2009 6pm-9pm

Prepared Childbirth 175$

A series of 7 classes with topics including: the process of Labor, comfort measures and techniques for each stage, deep relaxation and labor massge, role of the labor support provider/coach, pain - its role and management, issues related to fear of birthing, variations on the norm, informed consent and understanding risks and benefits, advanced techniquess, practice drills.

Saturdays, September 19- November 14th - 9:30am to noon; Mondays November 9th to December 21st - 6:00pm to 8:30pm ; Saturdays, January 9th,2010 to February 20h - 9:30 to noon

Breaqstfeeding and Beyond 75$

A seriers of 4 clasees including: rreastfeeding and troubleshooting, newborn talents and reflexes, newborn sleep and communication, post partum adaptation, recognizing signs of depression, mother/baby father/baby attachement, your role as a new parent.

Thursdays September 10th to October 6th 6:00pm - 8:30pm; Mondays, October 12th to November 2nd - 6:00pm - 8:30pm; Saturdays November 21st to December 19th 9:30am - noon; anther series in Feburary 2010 either Mondays or Thursdays
