Homebirth in the Greater Memphis area with Trillium WomanCare

Trillium WomanCare is a hombirth and midwifery practice formed in  2006 when midwives Andrea Christianson CNM and Amy Stewart-Banbury CPM merged their homebirth and women's health care midwifery practices.

We offer full scope midwifery practice,  serving women in the Greater Memphis  -West Tennessee area.  We provide well woman care from puberty through menopause,  prenatal care and planned homebirth care services.  We offer waterbirh, breastfeeding and lactation support, childbirth education and information about women's health care.

Our practice is grounded in our belief that all women are unique and deserve individualized care for their health care needs.  We celebrate the unique diversity and richness of women's lives, provide services from puberty through menopause; assist women through transitions and changes which promote health.  Our practice and our care is woman centered whether you seek routine women's health services or are preparing for the birth of a child.

The midwives of Trillium WomanCare believe that birth is a normal process which for healthy low risk women can be safely achieved in the comfort and security of their own homes. Through woman-centered care, with attention to, healthy diet and life-style choices, preventative health measures, and education, women with low-risk pregnancies can have a gentle, intervention-free birth under the watchful eye of experienced midwives.
